With Tax Time Looming What Can You Claim?

With less than a month left until the End of Financial Year NOW is the perfect time to get maintenance done to your investment property.  Your property manager may be able to assist you but make sure you give them plenty of notice as tradespeople are very busy this time of year.

Ray White Metro West at Chapel Hill recommends all our owners get their properties tested for termites every 6 months.  A good termite inspector will cost around $250.  Get in now before the end of June to claim!

Claim Your Depreciation!  Another fantastic tax deduction could be as simple as contacting BMT Tax Depreciation who will calculate the depreciation and potentially assist you to claim $5000 in depreciation in the first year!  For the tax deductible price of approximately $715 this is great value for money!  It doesn’t matter whether your home is new, old, recently renovated – there is depreciation to be claimed!  You may be pleasantly surprised by the age of the contents of your home that can be depreciated.  Check out their website
