Hello, I’m Krista Sharp, Rental Director at Ray White MetroWest located on the border of the beautiful suburbs of Chapel Hill and Indooroopilly.
Welcome to my Monthly Rental Report for May 2019. Today I will report to you on some of our recent market activity and what you can expect over the coming months.
44 Boundary Street Indooroopilly is a neat 3 bedroom house located only one block from the popular Ambrose Treacy College previously known as Nudgee Junior. This home is in a popular location as there is no “flow through” traffic and it’s close to the bikeways leading to Brisbane’s CBD. This home rented for $400 per week.
On Station Road Indooroopilly this tastefully renovated 2 bedroom unit in a very well managed 3 storey walk up rented for $395 per week.
Just over the River in Jindalee we achieved $950 per week for this extensively renovated 5 bedroom riverfront home. This home features a fabulous kitchen, 3 living areas, lots of covered balcony plus a sparkling swimming pool. Situated high and dry with gorgeous views and plenty of privacy with no homes across the river.
Winter is now upon us as we enter the second peak season for rental letting. You can expect to find more properties coming onto the rental market now as many leases expire in June/July. Investor owners will need to ensure their homes are ship shape and priced competitively to take advantage of the increased enquiry.
That’s my May update. I’ll see you around!
