How to get your rental application accepted

Hi, I’m Krista Sharp. Have you ever had your application for a rental property rejected? It’s quite common even in a tenant’s market to find yourself up against other very worthy applicants and to miss out on a property. So here are my top three tips to get your tenancy application accepted.

Tip number one, be nice to the leasing agents. They’re hardly going to want to rent something to someone who’s being a pain even before they’ve moved in. Tip number two, fill out the form in its entirety honestly and don’t skip anything. Tip number three, attach all the required information including 100 points of ID and your three latest payslips when you submit the tenancy application. Don’t make that agency start chase you for the information.

So those are my top three tips to get your tenancy application accepted.
